The Retreat Offers Cozy Arizona Nest for Snowbirds
Green Valley, Ariz. – The Arizona sun may still say summer, but The Retreat at Santa Rita Springs already has winter on its mind. Green Valley’s newest independent living retirement community has announced it is now accepting reservations for short-term furnished rentals in a new program designed especially for winter visitors.
Short-term guests may now reserve a fully furnished one- or two-bedroom apartment at The Retreat for a minimum of three days. Rates include bi-weekly housekeeping, scheduled transportation, access to all the amenities and facilities on site, and a full program of activities, including Watermark University brain and body fitness classes. For a nominal surcharge, guests may opt for a meal package that includes continental breakfast plus a second daily meal prepared by Executive Chef Joseph Zolnierowski.
“This turn-key program is ideal for snowbirds who are seeking our beautiful climate here in Green Valley, Arizona, with the spaciousness of a townhome and the conveniences and services of a luxury hotel, at a fraction of the cost,” said Debbie Engen, Executive Director of the retirement community. “It’s a great opportunity for short-term visitors and also a great way for us to welcome additional neighbors as we continue our long-term lease-up phase,” she added.
The Retreat at Santa Rita Springs, which opened in 2009, is an age-restricted community serving adults age 62+. A limited number of one- and two-bedroom apartments have been set aside for the short-term rental program. For more information call (520) 399-2792 or visit www.retreatsantarita.com.
