Dow Corning to showcase innovative silicone applications at China Auto Parts Expo

Dow Corning Corporation will showcase a complete line of performance-enhancing silicone solutions for automotive applications at the Auto Parts Expo 2009 in Beijing, China, from September 24-26.

Amid the global economic downturn, the auto industry has suffered slow or even negative growth. In response to this trend, Dow Corning has focused on equipping OEMs and suppliers at all levels with more innovative, efficient and cost-effective solutions.

At the Auto Parts Expo, Dow Corning will showcase Silastic® 100% Fluoro Liquid Silicone Rubber (F-LSR), a new fully fluorinated two-part injection moldable elastomer designed to meet increasingly stringent automotive engine temperatures, fuel and oil resistance specifications while improving environmental sustainability and cost efficiency during manufacturing.
