John Deere Dealers Now Offer Select Products from Raven Industries

LENEXA, Kansas .— John Deere dealers now offer select crop solution products from Raven Industries. These products are:

* Raven AccuFlow™ — precision NH3 delivery system
* Raven Sidekick™ — direct-injection system
* Raven AutoBoom™ PowerGlide Plus and UltraGlide — automatic boom-height control
* Raven SmartBoom™ — automatic boom section control

“With the addition of these Raven products, producers can visit their local John Deere dealer, gain access to a wider selection of precision technologies to meet their needs, and receive the same renowned service and support they’ve come to expect,” says Mark Theuerkauf, factory-marketing manager for John Deere Ag Management Solutions.

Theuerkauf explained how the Raven products will complement current John Deere products and create systems to help producers more efficiently manage their input costs.

“The AccuFlow system is an integral piece in completing the John Deere NH3 solution. Producers will be able to build a complete NH3 solution from the front of the tractor to the rear of the nutrient applicator all at their John Deere dealer,” says Theuerkauf.

Pairing such products as AutoTrac™, the GS2 Rate Controller, and documentation with AccuFlow helps guarantee producer’s crops get the NH3 they need, exactly where they need it.

The Sidekick direct-injection system can be used to further enhance such operations by injecting a nitrogen stabilizer during NH3 applications or also can be used to direct inject chemicals when spraying.

“When spraying, the Sidekick tank can carry the product while the carrier tank can be dedicated to water only, greatly reducing the need for tank cleaning and mixing. The Sidekick direct-injection system benefits producers by saving them money, effort, and time,” Theuerkauf explains.

The importance of accurate and efficient application continues to be crucial for producers to minimize input costs, especially when the price of fertilizer and chemicals rise. Raven AutoBoom, SmartBoom, and the SCS consoles will help producers in these areas.

With the AutoBoom line-up of PowerGlide Plus and UltraGlide, John Deere dealers now have a universally compatible solution for customers who require automatic boom-height control for their sprayers to reduce chemical drift and boom maintenance.

SmartBoom is a GPS-guided automatic-section-control system that virtually eliminates skips and overlaps. For producers who want automatic section control but simplicity and affordability drive their buying decisions, SmartBoom has been added to the John Deere line-up. It’s a reliable solution for liquid and NH3 section control at an affordable price.

John Deere dealers also offer the Raven SCS 450 and SCS 660M for automatic rate control to help producers accurately apply liquid products, NH3, liquid manure, and dry fertilizer.

“The SCS 450 is an entry-level option for producers who want the benefits of automatic rate control during liquid and NH3 applications. The SCS 660M is an option for customers who want to utilize automatic rate control during dry fertilizer and liquid manure applications.
