Electronic Records Management Power Colorado Adoptions
Denver, CO.: 1mage Software, pronounced ‘One Image’, announced today that their popular document management software has been selected and installed in a number of Colorado’s leading adoption agencies to convert existing paper based records to electronic records.
Colorado government has mandated that the agencies go to an electronic records management system by 2010. As a result of an extensive search, several of the leading agencies selected 1mage’s imaging system for use on Microsoft Windows servers. The system is being deployed to handle both past and future adoption records so that going forward all adoptions records and papers will be available as electronic records.
Existing documents are being scanned using scanning software supplied by 1mage. The 1Scan software was set up to efficiently index all electronic records according to the guidelines established by the governing state agency to provide a coordinated records management plan. Personnel from the Division of Child Care worked with the agencies and 1mage services personnel in an effort to create a common Meta tag structure for these very important electronic records and files. All records, files, video and audio records can be included in the archived image management system.
Colorado adoption agencies include Hopes Promise, Adoption Options, Colorado Christian Services and Adoption Alliance.
As a result of the success in Colorado, 1mage has expanded their offering to all 50 states and is offering an exceptional package for this very special need. 1mage Software products are available for Microsoft Windows, RedHat Linux and several flavors of UNIX including IBM AIX, HPUX and Sun Solaris.
