Industry Veteran Establishes Consulting Firm to Boost Clients’ Operating Income

LANCASTER, PENN. – Aug. 11, 2009 – Richard Clepper, a 35-year veteran of the motor carrier industry, has established Clepper Consulting Group LLC, a company dedicated to assisting independently owned trucking companies in optimizing operating performance.

With his industry experience, Clepper has developed a proven, systematic 12-step process for addressing clients’ operating challenges and providing appropriate, manageable solutions for them. The process includes collaboration between Clepper Consulting Group and its clients to analyze their current business practices within the organization, understand their relative strengths and develop functional process improvement initiatives that are to be implemented by the client’s organization.

Clepper started the consulting firm because he saw that owners of independently owned motor carriers needed affordable solutions to problems affecting their sales effort and operating performance, regardless of size.

Clepper’s management expertise comes from his 35 years in the industry, primarily with Yellow Transportation. During his career at Yellow Transportation, Clepper held various management responsibilities such as regional sales manager, distribution center manager, area general manager and area director of operations. His experiences included the development of Yellow’s Ontario, Canada business and Yellow’s expedited shipment service.
