Additional Cash for Clunkers Money Will Be Spent By Labor Day
The Pasch Consulting Group, Automotive Marketing Specialists, and one of the first to accurately predict that the original funds for Cash for Clunkers would be spent by August 1st, encourages shoppers to take full advantage of any extra funds the Senate approves.
Cash for Clunkers is expected to be injected with an additional $2 billion in funds after the popular bill was nearly exhausted of its original $1 billion in funding after the first week. The Pasch Consulting Group (PCG) has been closely following the bill since May and predicts that even with an additional $2 billion, the bill’s popularity will likely dry up the funds by Labor Day.
Consumers who did not act quickly were likely shut out of making a Cash for Clunkers deal before the money ran dry. Now that it looks like they will have one more opportunity, PCG encourages consumers to act quickly if they want to make a deal.
The popular website, www.cashforclunkersfacts.com , provides all of the necessary information consumers need to trade in their clunker. A Cash for Clunkers checklist was created to help consumers be prepared before they visit their dealer. Given the high volume of trade-in deals being requested, consumers are strongly encouraged to read the checklist and prepare their materials before going to see their local dealer.
Brian Pasch, CEO of the Pasch Consulting Group commented, “You can be sure that dealers will give priority to those who have their paperwork in order and are ready to make a deal. The dealers are flooded with consumers looking to make a deal, they won’t have time to babysit ill prepared buyers.”
The Cash for Clunkers checklist can be downloaded online at http://www.cashforclunkersfacts.com/bill/consumer-dealer-checklist
Consumers who need help being connected with a local dealer can submit a contact form at http://www.cashforclunkersfacts.com and an area dealer will be in touch with them shortly.
The official NHTSA CARS program website is located at www.cars.gov and it is the only website to determine if your clunker qualifies . In addition, check the cars.gov website periodically for updates on program runs and when the program will end.
