With markets maturing and the digital media sector enjoying growth, Neo@Ogilvy strengthens regional management line-up, ensuring continued success in Asia

Asia Pacific — Neo@Ogilvy has promoted Susana Tsui to the role of regional president, effective immediately. Susana, previously regional managing director of Neo@Ogilvy, has grown Ogilvy’s digital media operation to one of the leading multinational digital media agencies in Asia, in just three years. Neo@Ogilvy Asia Pacific now operates across 11 countries with 16 offices and 350 employees.

Kent Wertime, President OgilvyOne Asia Pacific, commented: “Under Susana’s leadership, we’ve seen Neo@Ogilvy continue to grow and strengthen in every aspect of the business. This is essential given the importance of digital media to so many of our clients today. I’m really pleased that Susana’s talent and leadership are being recognized through her official promotion to President of Neo@Ogilvy, Asia.”

In a move that will streamline and strengthen the Asia Pacific operation, Susana will hand over daily operational responsibilities to her in-market senior management team, continuing her focus on further strengthening Neo’s capabilities in the digital media, including Neo’s capabilities specifically in Display, Search Engine Marketing, Performance Marketing, Analytics and Emerging Media Platforms. Added to her portfolio will be the development of new business models, launching new service offerings, and the identification of acquisition and merger opportunities.

With over 12 years of digital agency experience on both the creative and media agency sides, Susana’s appointment reflects the ambitious growth the company has made over the last three years. Susana’s key achievements at Neo include the successful integration of local acquisition partners such as Century Harmony in China and Lee&Jang in Korea, the launch of TEM Control (Neo’s proprietary data management and reporting platform) in Asia, the launch of the Neo proprietary bid management tool in China and the launch of Ogilvy Performance Marketing.

Under Susana’s leadership, Neo has seen spectacular business wins, attracting clients such as Kodak (WW), Diageo in Asia, the Economic Development Board of Singapore, Fitness First, Motorola and LiNing in China.

Commenting on her appointment, Susana noted “Neo is the most exhilarating job I have ever had. In my new role, the challenge will be to continue developing deep client relationships, injecting new digital talent into the network and ensuring we retain our leadership position in the APAC digital media arena.”

Prior to joining Neo, Susana was the GM of full service digital agency (XM Hong Kong) and later MD of XM/RMG Connect, China. She has also served as the Client Services Director of Modem Media, North Asia, now a part of Digitas and Director of Sales at Engage Technologies, the first digital adnetwork and adserving technology provider to enter Asia Pacific.

Susana will continue reporting to Kent Wertime, President OgilvyOne Asia Pacific.

Susana’s announcement comes a week after Neo@Ogilvy appointed Peony Wu as Managing Director, Greater China.
