About the Author

Helen Goldie was born in Canada and has been married to Dr. Archie Goldie for over sixty-three years. They have five children, eleven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. They used to live in Ontario and Quebec where there they served the Lord in three Canadian churches before moving to Washington, D.C., where Archie served as Baptist World Aid Director for the Baptist World Alliance. They are now both retired.
