This book teaches readers the importance of maternal connection as it “opens the door to a personal reflection of our own mother-child relationships,”

Miz Bambo documents Carol Cowan-Lanyon’s life and the adventures she took with her mother—adventures that changed her life forever. This book was featured in LitFire’s booth during the recently concluded BookExpo America in Chicago last May 11 to 13 at the McCormick Place. BEA is the largest gathering of book traders and enthusiasts in North America.

In this book, Lanyon details the sudden death of her father and how she was sent to a boarding school by her grieving mother, Bambo. Not long after, when Bambo seemed to regain vigor and appeared to have moved on, she took Lanyon to a trip in Europe. That trip started the series of experiences that imprinted important memories and valuable lessons in Lanyon.

This book teaches readers the importance of maternal connection as it “opens the door to a personal reflection of our own mother-child relationships,” says Dagmar Nissen, an Amazon reviewer. This story of strength, love, and family emboldens readers to take care of their relationships. It also adds input to the bitter process of grief and depression.
