International Audience Inspired through Poetry

Author Roger Echols’s book, In a Year’s Time: A Book of Poetry, was displayed at the 23rd Beijing International Book Fair. The event was held at China International Exhibition Center, located in the Shunyi District of Beijing. LitFire publishing featured the book from August 24 to 28, 2016.

The book is a collection of poems written by the author himself. It is divided into three chapters. The first chapter makes readers want to go back to being children, letting them think of things that make their imagination wonder. The second chapter centers on love and romance; the poems contained in this chapter talk about being in love, losing the one you love, and confusion about love. The third and final chapter focuses on the loss of loved ones, which stems from the author’s personal experiences.

“It’s a book of deep feeling on a range of topics, some funny, sad, and inspirational,” the author states, describing the book.
