What Makes The Reflective Running Vest A ‘Must Have Accessory’?

Early morning runs, late evening walks or cycling to and from work, these are the typical activities where the reflective running vest proves its worth.  Whilst providing excellent visibility and safety when on the roads, unlike regular safety vests, these running vests are designed specifically for sporting activities for all including men, women and children.

As good quality reflective running gear, a vest should be lightweight so that the runner or cyclist feels negligible additional weight allowing for best performance.  The mesh fabric used should be breathable allowing air to pass through the vest and any sweat to evaporate providing greater comfort.  The vest should have a relatively snug fitting to avoid excessive movement while running and the length should fall above the hips to allow for optimal movement.

To provide added functionality, the vest should be equipped with a large enough zipper pocket to allow storage of the latest iPhone or Samsung.  However, this is not ideal for all as the added bounce of carrying heavy objects may affect exercise performance.  Nonetheless the pocket is very practical for carrying light items such as cash, a card or a key.
