LesterMoney Annuals Attempting to Bridge Academic Research and Professionals

LesterMoney is the first of its kind. Offered as an annual publication, the book takes academic research, summarizes it into an article and provide business professionals with information about the original researchers.

“While a doctoral candidate, there was a lot of discussion about research we spent years on not getting to corporate America. Now, my company is attempting to change that,” said founder Amber Persons.

Business professionals do not have to worry. The original research uses complex equations and can be over thirty pages long. However, LesterMoney offers a summary of 700 words or less.  The book is in print and Kindle format, and it will be in bookstores soon.

Utilizing feedback from a focus group and following the company’s motto of ‘In Simple English,’ Holland Meissner Company  is the first company specializing in “quick read” books and booklets. The company is hoping to make reading possible for those on the go.

The annual offers research on topics such as monetary policy, insurance trends, leadership styles in countries such as Japan, Germany, the United States, and China, and more. There is also a section at the back offering a summary of original research by the company. One such topic is the theory of diluted property rights.

As an added bonus, readers can follow LesterMoney on Twitter, (the o is a zero). They are also on other social media.  “We have a blog that we started a year ago,” Persons says, “but, we are about to transition that to a full site. We have enough traffic now.”
