Rappers call Memphis the “Murder Capital.” But, one MidSouth native is trying to do something about that. “Lower your blood pressure and join the Dying to be Angry Movement,” says Holland Meissner Company. The company is paving the way for a movement to address the societal ill of violence. Starting with a book titled “Dying to be Angry,” the company just released original music with an album by the same name.

“The music is fun to get dressed to, cook to, and ride to. Easy listening,” says the company founder, Amber Persons. Persons founded the movement after realizing that many people want to gripe or “Boss Off!” about things online.  Persons, a trained researcher found that there was an error in how online griping was viewed: “Research showed that such venting only makes individuals angrier; however, there is a steady rise in violence and online venting may be a better alternative. Rather than discourage it, we offer an outlet for it. So, we are offering an app on Google Play this August.”

The app will be offered for only $.99 and will offer “Dying to be Angry” products and social media access. Research shows that releasing anger is healthier and Holland Meissner Company is providing a movement dedicated to it. “So far, we have much interest from Generation X, but all are welcomed,” Persons explains.

The “Dying to be Angry” movement is on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram now.  Poetry, such as Nature Walk: Poetic Thoughts With Nature by Holland Meissner Company is offered. Funny videos are shared. And, one can #BossOff about anything from the political arena to sports.  “Instead of chiding a growing trend, we are embracing it and starting a movement around it. No one is excluded. Some movements exclude, we do not.”

Persons not only includes all topics you want to #BossOff about, but all languages are welcomed. “We only have English posts right now, but other languages are welcomed,” adds Persons, who speaks multiple languages. “It may be welcoming to log on and see someone using the language you prefer.”
