Buffalo Mold Testing Laboratory Receives ISO-17025 Compliant A2LA Accreditation for Mold Analysis
EMSL Buffalo gains A2LA accreditation for fungal direct examination in bulk, surface and air samples.
EMSL Analytical, Inc. is pleased to announce that its Buffalo, New York laboratory has received accreditation from the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) Program for the lab’s mold testing services. Under A2LA, EMSL Buffalo is accredited to the International Standard ISO/IEC 17025:2005.
EMSL Buffalo’s accreditation (Certificate Number 2845.24) has been approved for fungal direct examination in bulk, surface and air samples.

EMSL Buffalo earned IRSST recognition for asbestos analysis by polarized light microscopy (PLM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The laboratory is NY-ELAP certified for asbestos testing of potable water, solid and hazardous waste along with air and emissions. EMSL Buffalo is also CDC ELITE certified for Legionella testing.
