“This novel is very engaging, intellectually and emotionally stimulating. I recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone who is fond of Russian literature and history, as well as to those who love reading about great people who contributed to human civilization.”

A biography of Alexander Pushkin, written by M.A. DuVernet, was published in 2014. According to the author, her book started out as a movie script during her days as a film student. She was inspired to write about Pushkin because of his poem, Ode to Liberty.

DuVernet’s work has garnered several 5-star ratings and positive reviews on Amazon. One reviewer said, “This novel is very engaging, intellectually and emotionally stimulating. I recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone who is fond of Russian literature and history, as well as to those who love reading about great people who contributed to human civilization.”

This year, her book is set to join the prestigious book fair in Frankfurt, Germany, with the help of LitFire Publishing. Enthusiasts of poetry will get to know the life of “the father of the golden age of Russian Literature” through DuVernet’s book.

For those who would like to find out more about the book, LitFire – as one of the exhibitors in the Frankfurt International Book Fair – will be showcasing it at their booth this October 14 to 18 of 2015. All book fair attendees are welcome to take a look.
