“It explores the deeper meaning of love and the relationships that either control us or force us to grow. There is a personal and spiritual transformation that takes place that I think many women can relate to.”

Making Believers: Connect to the Light Within by Linda Amato was first published in 2010 by Infinity Publishing. In 2011, the book was republished by Balboa press.

It tells the story of a mother, Gracie, and her daughter, Amanda, who share unconditional love for one another. The book has been widely acclaimed by readers, especially women who have been battling with their demons for so long.

One review in the book’s Amazon page states, “It explores the deeper meaning of love and the relationships that either control us or force us to grow. There is a personal and spiritual transformation that takes place that I think many women can relate to.”

With a goal to inspire women all over the world, Amato collaborated with LitFire Publishing to have them take her book to the reputable international book fair this year in Frankfurt, Germany.

For those who want to know more about the book, it will be on display at LitFire’s booth during the Frankfurt International Book Fair happening this October 14 to 18 of 2015.

About the Author

As a certified holistic health counselor, Reiki master and metaphysical practitioner, Linda Amato has been working with clients for seven years, helping them to heal from their past. In doing so, she has learned that fear is the greatest of demons after abuse of any kind, physical or emotional. She was always amazed by the power love projects onto people when it is taken away. For thirty years she was the sole person responsible for her dad, who was diagnosed as a manic-depressive. Yet, to her he was the wisest man. Her belief in life is that anything is possible because change is the key to transformation when the life-experience you are living is not working out.

As a mother of four young adults, she has always been aware that she was their first teacher and inspired them to be whoever they needed to be with love, kindness and compassion for all beings. She respected them tremendously, and she has learned from them how to grow and transform during her own journey. Being married these past forty years to her childhood sweetheart has allowed her to learn wonderful lessons of acceptance, change, and respect for one another. Amato has lived in Bellmore, New York, for the last twenty-four years and has truly been blessed by the experiences of her life as an at-home wife and mother. She enjoyed every single minute of her daily activities, but her dream was always to be a published author.
