About the Author

Diane Gruenke was a hospice volunteer for many years. During that time, she collected a number of inspirational stories and activities. The idea for making a compilation of those materials came after the passing of her son’s friend. Diane went to visit the young man, who was battling cancer, and took some of her collected material with her. After his death, the family told her how much her materials meant to them.
