About the Author

Rosalie H. Contino, PhD, was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. She received her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Fordham University. This seventh-grade-English teacher then pursued master’s and doctorate degrees in educational theater and costume design at New York University. She is currently retired, and she spends her days writing. She is a playwright, a costume designer, and a lecturer.
