The author, along with two other siblings and their mother, had to go through a decade with their father having to go away for war. Moreover, the book highlights the author’s remarkable growth despite these difficult experiences.

“Writing this book added great joy and spice to my Golden Years, not just remembering but to keep my past alive,” states the author.

The book was displayed in different book fairs such as the Frankfurt Book Fair last October and through the American Association of School Libraries for national exhibits.
