Book Exposes Truth about the Contemporary Music Used in Church

Author Sonny Rios cooperated with LitFire to showcase his book, Satan the Musician, during the recently concluded London Book Fair. The book confronts the presence of Satan in contemporary Christian songs and methods of playing music in the church.
 
Music, according to Rios, is a “mystical entity” that allows direct communication between man and God. Singing of praise is delighted by God. However, worship should be reverent to the Almighty God. In this book, Rios breaks down all the ways Satan uses music to distract believers. He contends that with contemporary Christian music, believers, instead of worshipping the Lord, are made to worship the artists instead. Instead of seeking to be edified, believers now seek to be entertained.
 
The book examines a sensitive issue and backs its points with scriptural evidence. Rebekah Harris, an Amazon reviewer, says the book “addresses a topic that many Christians don’t even think about.” She continues by expressing disbelief in the idea of the modern church bringing in popular or secular music to attract people instead of refusing worldly temptations.
 
The book was exhibited at LitFire’s booth during the London Book Fair last April 12–14, 2016, at Olympia in West London. This book is available in all major online retailers.
