Follow a Faithful, Driven Couple to the Upper Arctic Circle

At Tucson last March 12 to 13 at the University of Arizona campus, the 2016 Tucson Festival of Books was held. There, plenty of book enthusiasts, authors, and industry professionals converged. Christel Bresko’s new book, Living in a Land Where No Apples Grow, was showcased at the LitFire booth.

The book recounts that time in their lives when Christel and her husband faced tremendous difficulty, from wild animals to scarcity of food in Alaska. Despite the challenges, the unwavering pair, guided by spirit and passion, preached His news to an indigenous Indian tribe. There, they forever moved hearts.

About the Author
Christel Decker Bresko was born in Germany in 1937. She went to study English in England in 1957 and took up nursing, graduating in 1962. By 1968, she moved to the USA.

Now retired, Christel Decker Bresko enjoys travel, walking, swimming, reading, and writing in her spare time.
