Spiritual Book Inspired by St. Benedict Featured in Tucson

The Journey of My Life chronicles how author Eugene McCann’s life was influenced by St. Benedict. This book, along with many others, was showcased in the recently concluded Tucson Festival of Books.

The teachings of St. Benedict allowed McCann to look within himself. Discovering Benedictine spirituality altered his life and motivated him to share his experiences to others. In this book, McCann reiterates how he got inspired to change his life.

McCann had a rough childhood, which made him doubtful about himself and his faith. However, despite the unfortunate circumstances he went through, he still managed to put things in order and find value in them. The Journey of My Life centers on how God transformed him using Benedictine spirituality. 

This book, along with many others, was displayed in LitFire’s booth during the Tucson Festival of Books last March 12 to 13, 2016, at the University of Arizona. The book is available in all major online retailers.

About the Author
Eugene McCann has suffered from epilepsy since birth. He had a hard time living with it and led a difficult life. Later, he came to realize life’s value and found refuge in Jesus Christ, who later inspired him in his journey to become a monk.
