Book with 57 Short Stories Joined Frankfurt Book Fair

Author of countless short stories, Carlos V. Cornejo, has recently republished his two-volume series, Different Coins in the Fountain, through POD publishing company, LitFire. Moreover, the short story series now comes with new and improved book covers.

Different Coins in the Fountain Volume I, the first installment of the series, is composed of fifty-seven stories with interesting titles, just like Dancing with Grief, The Hundred Pound Lizard, She Covered up with Purple, The Herd Instinct, and many more.

The book was featured at the 2015 Frankfurt Book Fair held last October 14-18, 2015 at the Frankfurt Trade Fair grounds in Frankfurt, Germany.

About the Author

Carlos V. Cornejo is a native of San Francisco and has lived most of his life in the Bay Area. After college he served with the Marines in the Korean War.  When he returned to San Francisco, he followed his inclinations to teach youngsters and travel to places of interest in Europe, Asia, and ad North America.

As an educator, he was principal of 9 secondary schools before being appointed Superintendent of Schools in San Francisco. His ideas for writing stem from his traveling experiences where he listened to people’s diverse account of their lives and culture.   These experiences stayed in his memory and led to be inspired to create the stories that are in his books.
