Moroccan Musings: A Contemplative Journey

Moroccan Musings was inspired by author Anne Barriault’s desire to learn more about Islamic cultures and her experiences in the said country. The book is an apolitical and personal view of Morocco that speaks about the sceneries and sites and that gives tribute to the country’s rich ancient cultures.

The book is divided into two parts. The first one is about Morocco’s imperial cities and the discoveries on the first trip there and the second part focuses on the heritage site and holy city, Fes. Through the form of short essays, the author will take the readers on descriptive journeys beyond Morocco’s attractions, traditions, and people.
