Written with vivid characters and events set in the land of ancient kings, this book becomes an easy favorite for all lovers of historical fantasy and adventure.

What if a parchment revealing a pact for the royal bloodline was stolen and riddled with deception? In Ruth Anderson Lawler’s new historical fiction, Kinsman Redeemer: A Tale of High Adventure in 1013, Wiley, an average 13-year old boy, discovers his real identity.

The Danes are thirsty for the young lad’s blood, but brave Wiley fights for his life and his name. He flees the wrath of menacing kings hungry for stature, and goes on epic adventures as a knight he wishes to be. Aided by friends he meets along the way—a dwarf, an alchemist, a Norwegian Viking, and the future King of England—Wiley gains a great deal of skill and wisdom as the battle for his fate holds life and death consequences.

“Aside from the fantasy and adventure, my book has spiritual Christian connotations and biblical influences my readers can thoroughly enjoy and take from,” states the author.
