Learning About Life Through the Simple Story of 3 Little Swallows

What could life be like for creatures of flight? In the new book entitled The 3 Little Swallows by Ernesto A. Amaranto, readers are given a look inside the lives of three barn swallows hatched in a nest inside the rafters of the author’s own home.
 
The book tells the story of these three little birds’ early stages of family life inside their tiny but cozy nest. A selection of lovely photographs documents these various stages. The short story shows the similarities between human life and the life of our feathered friends. 
 
“This book was inspired by my newfound appreciation of the many beautiful living creatures, big and small, right in our own backyards. Unlike urban living, my new rustic hometown offers opportunities to observe various kinds of birds, rabbits and other animals including coyotes.  A big part of my inspiration to write this book was the birth of our grandson, John-John to whom I dedicate this book,” states the author.
 
The new book by Ernesto A. Amaranto was displayed during the 2015 Guadalajara International Book Fair in Guadalajara, Mexico held last November 28 – December 6, 2015.

About the Author
Ernesto A. Amaranto is a psychiatrist who, after retiring, moved to Colorado along with his wife of thirty plus years. Having lived in the NY/NJ metropolitan area for all of his professional life, he found a small town at the base of the Rocky Mountains rich with beauty for his new avocation, painting.
