EMSL Canada’s Vancouver Lab Receives CALA Accreditation

EMSL Canada Inc. is proud to announce that its Vancouver laboratory has been accredited by the Canadian Association for Laboratory Accreditation Inc. (CALA) for asbestos in air by PCM fibre counting (NIOSH 7400) and fungi in air by spore trap (ASTM D7371-09). Through the CALA accreditation program, EMSL’s Vancouver laboratory is compliant with International Standard ISO/IEC 17025:2005.

In addition to EMSL Vancouver, our Calgary lab is certified by CALA for asbestos in air by PCM fibre counting (NIOSH 7400), fungi in air by spore trap (ASTM D7371-09) & fungi solids.  This lab also holds accreditation by the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP) for PLM bulk asbestos fibre analysis (NVLAP Lab Code 201068-0).
