Former Nun Took Her Spiritual Journey to Frankfurt

Have you found your life’s spiritual meaning? If you haven’t yet, then you should go on a journey with Vivian Franck. She is the author of a spiritual memoir entitled “Forever Becoming: The Deepening Realization of Presence in my Life.”

“My book ’Forever Becoming’ is about my lifelong search for truth, meaning and freedom. From the confines of a very restrictive Catholic upbringing, I was led to join a religious Community, which ironically became the ultimate way to find what I was looking for”, Vivian said.

Vivian was raised in the confines of an all-Catholic town in Northern Maine. The quest for enlightenment did not start easily. People, especially parents, were very watchful over the words and actions of children.

When she entered the convent, she enjoyed many deep realizations through retreats and other experiences for thirty years. When the time came to leave the religious life, she was ready to absorb the teachings of enlightened teachers who came her way. Indeed, her journey towards spiritual meaning was so fruitful that she decided to write her insights in a book.

"I ventured out and trusted blindly that the Lord would take care of me. Sure enough, everything fell into place from the moment I left and even up to this day. I have written this book in the hope that it may be helpful to others on their spiritual journey”, said the author.

Vivian Franck was born with a strong will and a propensity to rebel. But when she was pressured by her religious parents to lead a religious life, there is nothing she could do but obey their wishes. At the age of eighteen, Vivian left her home to become a nun in a French Canadian Order. After thirty years of living as a nun, she realized it was time for her journey to begin in the outside world.
