CommonWealth One’s new high-tech branch at James Madison University opens August 3

A new member-focused branch for students and faculty will open August 3 in the Madison Union building on the campus of James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia.

Located directly next to the post office, the new branch will offer state-of-the-art advances in member service, as well as in operational efficiency. “We planned and designed our new branch with the latest technology to enhance the delivery of our traditional first-class service,” said CommonWealth One’s President and CEO, Charlotte Cash.  “We’ve added mobile technologies for account access, office meeting space for members coupled with an exclusive JMU décor including a mural wall depicting campus life and JMU’s strong history.”

Cash noted that CommonWealth One’s presence on JMU’s campus has come a long way since the credit union opened its first office in Gibbons Hall. “Through the years, CommonWealth One has demonstrated to the entire student body, faculty, and staff the benefits of credit union membership, so that now, we enjoy ‘preferred financial partner’ status,” added Cash.

All are invited to visit the new branch and experience the first class service that CommonWealth One members enjoy.  Branch hours are Monday – Thursday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm and Fridays from 9:00 am – 5:30 pm.
