ABIH® LinkedIn Group Celebrates 725+ Members & Growing
The American Board of Industrial Hygiene® (ABIH®) harnesses the power of LinkedIn to share information and updates with the industrial hygiene community.
The ABIH® LinkedIn group continues to grow and we invite all CIHs and others in the profession to join the discussion.
Earlier this month, the American Board of Industrial Hygiene’s LinkedIn group reached a new milestone with its 725th member. The LinkedIn group, launched in late 2012, has been growing at a steady rate as more Certified Industrial Hygienists and the greater industrial hygiene community turn to social media for news, updates and information.
Social media has become a convenient and rapid way for ABIH® to disseminate information and share ideas. In addition to ABIH’s LinkedIn group, both the ACGIH® and AIHA® have groups dedicated to the industrial hygiene profession. ABIH® currently uses its LinkedIn group to post updates about the Certified Industrial Hygienist® (CIH®) program, promote industry certification, and provide a venue for industrial hygiene and environmental, health and safety professionals from across the globe to communicate and learn from many of the industry’s top minds.
