As she awakens from her coma, she doesn’t know who she is or what happened to her. But as time passes by, she begins to have flashbacks of her buried past.

Loyalty is never cheap, especially when you’re serving your country. Sometimes, the price is so expensive that it can cost your life. But the thing is, no one knows for sure who’s going to collect the payment for your allegiance – the enemy or your own partners. This is the new theme for Judy Lennington’s new novel entitled, “The Grey Areas.”

“The book tells the story of a woman found floating on a rubber raft at sea, beaten half to death and comatose. Let’s see where the mysteries of her identity can take us,” Lennington said.

The story focused on a woman with a cryptic past; her name is Shannon Strassman. She is the image of a happy woman. She’s married to Bradley, a great lawyer who also happens to be a good man. She lives in a nice home overlooking the beach. And she has a job she loves the most.

But she can’t exactly remember the past that keeps haunting her. All she knew is that she woke up in a hospital because she was badly beaten. As she awakens from her coma, she doesn’t know who she is or what happened to her. But as time passes by, she begins to have flashbacks of her buried past.

When everything begins to become complicated, two men suddenly appear in her life, claiming to be her past CIA partners. Both are also claiming that the other is a Russian spy trying to find out the location of something important that she’s hidden throughout the years.

Now, Shannon is intrigued by all the questions in her mind. Who is she? What kind of danger awaits her? Is there something her husband is not telling her? Who should she trust? Shannon must figure out the answers to her questions before it’s too late. For this time, she may not make it alive again.

Mystery and espionage await us as we turn the pages of Lennington’s new book. So, what are waiting for? Grab a copy of “The Grey Areas” and let’s all enjoy an afternoon spent on the edge of our seats as the story of Shannon and her mysterious past unfolds before our eyes.
