Technology executive and global financial services leader Ross Creasy has been appointed Managing Director at MorganFranklin Consulting, a D.C.-based, strategy and execution-focused business consulting firm and professional advisor. Creasy brings more than 20 years of experience formulating and implementing IT strategies that transform, sustain, and support high-growth organizations. With a diverse background in banking operations, finance, business unit leadership, outsourcing, strategy, and technology, Creasy has a track record of building sustainable organizations in both high-growth periods and turnaround situations through talent management and customer engagement.

“On behalf of the MorganFranklin team, I am excited to welcome Ross to our firm as a core leader in our Information Management & Technology practice,” said C.E. Andrews, CEO of MorganFranklin Consulting. “Ross is a highly analytical leader whose focus on strategy, vision, and global initiatives will be invaluable when serving enterprise market clients seeking transformative, sustainable IT solutions. He truly embodies what makes our firm different and is an ideal fit for MorganFranklin, where we blend diverse backgrounds and experiences from the consulting and corporate worlds to deliver client solutions unlike any other firm.”

Creasy’s areas of expertise include financial management and control, IT governance and risk management, IT strategy, professional and managed services, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), post-merger integration (PMI), and agile software development, including Scrum and Kanban. He is also experienced in finance platforms, enterprise resource planning (ERP), business intelligence (BI), process design and automation, supply chain management (SCM), business continuity and disaster recovery, data security and networks, systems development life cycle (SDLC), vendor management and contract negotiations, resource allocation, offshore and nearshore operations, and end-to-end evaluation of equipment, hardware, and software to support growth plans.

Creasy most recently served as Vice President of Identity and Access Management at Capital One, where he was responsible for global strategy, operations, platform engineering, delivery, and compliance for the Fortune 500 financial services company. Since joining Capital One in 2001, he served in a number of executive positions leading end-user computing (EUC), card technology partnerships, corporate technology, and Basel II technology delivery. Over his tenure, Creasy built and led an 850-member organization, was responsible for a multiyear operating and investment budget of more than $175 million, and implemented diverse strategies to lead large onshore and offshore development teams. He also drove company integrations, system revitalizations, cost reductions, and scalability assessments. Creasy began his career at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, where he held numerous positions across both the business and technology organizations over the course of six years.

“Whether seeking diverse sourcing models, process automation, platform consolidation, innovation, or all of the above, complex, multimillion-dollar projects require high-performance teams and a customer-focused culture to ensure success. MorganFranklin is equally committed to this customer-centric approach, and I am thrilled to join a team that will build on my commitment to executing complex transformation projects in record time and cost,” Creasy said.

Creasy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Virginia Commonwealth University and an MBA from Averett University. He serves on the advisory board for Xtium, a privately held virtual cloud services enterprise, and previously served on the foundation board for the nonprofit MathScience Innovation Center.
