Olathe, Kan. – WEBWIRE

Health care executive Wendy Slatery has joined Innara Health as executive vice president of sales and marketing. Slatery will be responsible for marketing strategy, sales activities and market expansion.

Slatery brings more than 20 years of health care sales and marketing experience to Innara Health.  Working with small start-ups to Fortune 10 companies, she has developed successful commercial strategies for a wide range of customers. Slatery possesses deep knowledge of the neonatal market from her previous position in GE Healthcare’s Maternal Infant Care unit.

The move kicks off a sales and marketing push for the growing medical device company as it continues to expand its reach in the neonatal care sector.

“We are excited about this important addition to our team,” said Michael Peck, president and CEO of Innara Health. “Wendy’s reputation and extensive expertise in the area of care solutions for newborns and preemies is invaluable to us as we seek to bring our technology to as many neonatal critical care settings as possible.”

Innara Health’s NTrainer System addresses challenges faced by many newborns and infants born prematurely. The system assesses a baby’s ability to perform non-nutritive suck (NNS), an essential skill for infant feeding, and provides therapy to develop NNS skills, helping the baby to move to oral feeding.
