Logic PD Hires Sandy Bell as Chief Financial Officer

Logic PD, a complete product lifecycle company for connected devices, announced today that Sandy Bell has been hired as the company’s Chief Financial Officer. Effective March 25, Bell replaces Frank Hallowell who resigned from the position earlier this month.

An accomplished leader with extensive background in service driven organizations, Bell is responsible for providing Logic PD with financial leadership and leading the company’s business services department which includes financial analysis, accounting, and IT functions.

“Logic PD’s growth in recent years has come from providing services to help customers with product realization, but future growth will be in supporting their connected product and service requirements for the digital world,” said Bruce DeWitt, president and CEO of Logic PD. “These offerings will require financial leadership well-versed in structuring service agreements that span the life of a connected product. We’ve brought Bell on board to ensure we continue to capture exponential growth in our marketplace.”

Most recently Bell served as Senior Vice President, CFO and Corporate Board Secretary at ExpressPoint Technology Services. During his 12-year tenure at the organization, he was instrumental in driving financial and operational strategy for the service-driven company.

Bell developed his financial leadership experience with positions at Distribution Dynamics, Trimodal Inc. and American President Companies. After earning his MBA and Bachelors of Science from the School of Business Administration & Economics at St. Mary’s College of California, Bell began his career at one of the nation’s “big eight” accounting firms Arthur Andersen & Company.

For more than two decades Bell has volunteered his time to help local entrepreneurs develop their businesses; working with them to assess business and financial plans, fund raising options, legal entity structures, business processes and internal controls, and financial accounting.

Bell lives with his wife and two sons in Maple Grove, Minn. where he has been actively involved in youth sports associations as board member, coach and team manager.
