Modern Industrial Adds Forklift Quote Service to Its Industrial E-Commerce Website

A newcomer to the industrial e-commerce scene, Modern Industrial officially announced today that it is adding a new service to it’s industrial products e-commerce website.  The company is now offering a quoting service that helps match prospective buyers with equipment distributors in the material handling category.  Customers can now quickly and easily use this new service to get multiple quotes on new or used forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, and related warehousing machinery.
 
Modern Industrial’s President and General Manager Jon Payne says adding this new service helps to broaden the brand’s reach within the industrial market.
 
“Ultimately, our plan is to position Modern Industrial as a one-stop-shop for commercial buyers.  Adding material handling products to our existing lineup of plumbing supplies and fluid management products helps us reach a broader customer base,” said Payne.
 
The new service marks the latest stage of growth for Modern Industrial, whose target market includes facility managers, tradesmen, engineers, MRO staff, and anyone involved in the purchasing of industrial supplies.  The e-commerce website launched earlier this year and is looking for strong growth in Q2.
 
“We did a soft -launch in Q4 last year offering just one category of products, plumbing supplies, and we then made that launch more public at the start of this year.  So far, the response has been great.  We’re excited to venture into the material handling category – specifically forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, and related warehousing and distribution machinery,” Payne added.
