Event Marketing Solutions develops Board following 2015’s record start

The roadshow tour expert has secured £3.2 million worth of new contracts since the start of the new year with both new and existing clients. This includes two leading home appliance brands, as well as tours with B2B clients Ortho Clinical Diagnostics and Parker Hannifin.

Thanks to this success, Nic Whelan has been appointed to the EMS Board of Directors to lead the company’s business development strategy. This comes after 13 years with EMS, where Nic has played a pivotal role in developing new revenue streams including roadshows with Barclays, Warner Bros. and Allianz. His new role of Business Development Director will see him oversee the sales and marketing division, providing strategic support as the business continues to grow globally.

Elsewhere in EMS, Gemma Edney has been promoted from Account Director to Head of Client Services after 10 years with the business. Gemma will lead the Client Services team and oversee project delivery worldwide. Meanwhile, Laura Nash will step into Gemma’s previous role as Account Director as a promotion from Senior Account Manager.
