The Elizabeth Hospice Offers Workshop: What To Do With Stuff: Another Year Begins

As part of its “Living While Grieving” series, The Center for Compassionate Care of The Elizabeth Hospice will present the grief workshop “What To Do With Stuff: Another Year Begins” on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 from 2 to 5 p.m. The workshop is open to the community-at-large, regardless of the type of loss experienced.
 
This workshop will address practical strategies for sorting through and deciding what to do with the “stuff” left behind after a loss. Participants will learn ways to identify and communicate their feelings during the process of sorting, saving, donating and honoring their loved one’s personal belongings. Experiential exercises will allow participants to practice new skills, explore new viewpoints, and gain access to a variety of community resources. Participants will receive handouts, and take home a symbolic creation of their own.

The grief workshops available in the “Living While Grieving” series are designed to help adults understand the natural responses when grieving the loss of a loved one and to learn new self-care strategies. All workshops are located at the Center for Compassionate Care of The Elizabeth Hospice located at 930 Canterbury Place, Escondido, CA 92025.
