Space Coast Insurance Agent Offers Companies Innovative Health Insurance Solution

While many insurance agents are ignoring a key method to help small to medium-sized companies offer health insurance to employees, lower their costs, and comply with the Affordable Care Act, one local agent is bucking the trend.
 
Len DellaRocco, owner of Space Coast Benefits, with 10+ years of  experience in the health insurance industry, has been helping companies get Fully Protected Self-Funded Health Insurance policies (Partially Self-Funded) in place.
 
A Fully Protected Self-Funded health insurance policy is a way for a company to keep its costs under control by allowing the company to self-fund health insurance costs up to a point and then turn to insurance if costs in a year exceed the amount allocated for health-care costs, according to DellaRocco.
 
“There has been a lot of confusion out there about the Affordable Care Act,” said DellaRocco.  “Many companies have been paralyzed and confused with all the information. I have taken the time to analyze the situation and have come up with, what I feel, is the best solution for many companies.”
 
What has made it more difficult, said DellaRocco, is that many small- to medium-sized companies don’t have dedicated staff to devote to this important issue.
 
“Small- to medium-sized companies can’t afford to have full-time benefits personnel because their goals are taking care of clients and customers while keeping overhead low,” the former Army officer said. “Without someone like me advising them, they often don’t know what to do.”
 
DellaRocco said he knows how frustrated business owners are with the Affordable Care Act.
 
“Look, the ACA isn’t an easy-to-understand law, and I am in the industry!” said DellaRocco.  “I urge affected business owners to contact their insurance professionals and ask them about partially-self-funded health insurance policies.”
