“Straight Talk” Book Helps Christian Singles Get Out of the Dating Desert

Grace Journey Publishing recently released its Amazon book, Straight Talk to Christian Singles: Moving from “Hi, how are you?” to “Yes, I do.” According to author, Kevin Paterson, overseer of The Journey Ministries, the book “cuts through the cultural propaganda to give straight answers to tough questions about dating and relationships and get singles out of the dating desert.”

He says, Christian Singles will receive biblical understandings that will help them “find and catch a keeper, learn to overcome the obstacles hindering their relational life, and find missing keys for God’s relational success for them.” In this book, Paterson says, veteran former singles and Christian leaders, give wise, honest advice from the trenches of singles ministry to help inspire confidence and help singles attract great relationships that go the dating distance.

Paterson, says he experienced the great joys and challenges of prolonged singleness, before marrying late in life, for the first time, in 2009. Through his extensive life and ministry experience—as a pastor and ministry leader—he says he has gleaned a wealth of wisdom to impart to singles. Paterson oversees a ministry to Christian single adults called The Journey, in which, he says, many members are entering into great dating relationships and marriages.

As a professional writer, singles pastor, and international speaker, the author says he was inspired to create “Straight Talk to Christian Singles” to answer the tough dating questions of single believers to get them from “Hi, how are you?” to “Yes, I do.”
