North Melbourne Electrical Contractor Wins Commercial Project Of The Year

North Melbourne electrical contractor Corospark Electrical & Solar has impressed the judges of this year’s Master Electricians Australian (MEA) VIC Excellence Awards, taking out the coveted prize as Commercial Project of the Year for their Voltage Optimisaton project at University of Melbourne. 

Corospark will now go on to battle out against the best from around the country, with national winners announced at a gala dinner during MEA’s 2014 Electrical Industry Conference at Noosa this week.

Corospark CEO Jason Bank said it was a privilege to be recognised as one of the best in the business in VIC and he was excited by the prospect of taking out the top gongs at the National Excellence Awards. 

“I am really proud of my team for winning this award. It is proof that when you surround yourself with the right people, you can produce first class results for your clients. Just like we did with the University of Melbourne,” Mr. Bank said. 

“Now that we’ve had success at this level, we are off to compete for the national award. We realise there will be strong competition from the rest of the country, but we’re up for it, and we want to do the state of Victoria proud. So our message to the other states is: Bring it on.”

In parting, Mr. Bank went on to say, "If the emails and messages I receive every day from my customers are any indication, I know we are in with a good shot at this. We will know by the 29th September, so I will update you with the good news then.”
