Little City Receives Grant from Million Dollar Round Table Foundation

The Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) Foundation awarded Little City with a grant to help support its health and wellness initiatives

As part of its Worldwide Grant Program, the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) Foundation awarded a $3,500 grant to Little City Foundation. This grant will help support Little City’s nursing staff who help care for the children and adults with autism and other intellectual and developmental disabilities served at Little City’s 56-acre Palatine campus.

For more than 50 years, Little City has provided innovative programs and services to individuals with disabilities so they can realize their unique potential to live safely, learn continuously, explore creatively and work productively throughout their lifetime.

Through its Worldwide Grant Program, the MDRT Foundation is committed to improving the quality of life in communities around the globe. This year, the MDRT Foundation will award almost $1 million in grants to more than 100 charities. Representing the MDRT Foundation, ShirleyAnn M. Robertson, CLTC, presented this grant to Little City in June.

The MDRT Foundation was created in 1959 to provide MDRT members with a means to give back to their communities. Since its inception, the Foundation has donated more than $28 million in more than 70 countries throughout the world and in all 50 U.S. states. The majority of these funds were raised by MDRT members from MDRT members.
