Northern Insurance Agencies and Nonprofit Hearts and Homes Initiate New Charity Campaign in Maryland to Assist Young Men Who Have Fallen Off Track

Burtonsville, Maryland – With a community program in Maryland, Northern Insurance Agencies has teamed up with Hearts and Homes, and announced a new charity campaign to raise funds in support of the Harriet Tubman Emergency Shelter.  This shelter is a respite home for at-risk young men, and those who have experienced trauma in their lives, resulting in severe life changes. Northern Insurance Agencies initiated this campaign to help youth in the area build a brighter future for themselves and their families, even through hardship. Utilizing its own resources and seeking the help of its own network of customers and business partners, Northern Insurance Agencies marches on to ensure customers, friends, family and neighbors are always in good hands. The agency just recently launched the master charity program of which the current campaign is part of, electing every 30-90 days a new individual, organization or family in need to receive support.
 
“Many of these young men have experienced trauma in their lives and have grown up with daunting circumstances.  We want to help these kids get back on track and help them realize that they can build a bright future for themselves,” said Tom Northern, the Agency’s principal. “We want them to know they have people who believe in them.”
 
The agency will promote the current campaign over the course of the next 30-90 days, through its social media channels, email and text message communications, as well as through a monthly magazine, delivered to thousands of households in the Maryland, Virginia, and DC areas where the agency currently operates.
