Career outcomes data for the 2014 graduating class indicate 66% of undergraduates have an occupation following graduation

66% of respondents from undergraduate programs indicated they were engaged in some type of occupation (employment, military service, additional education, or volunteer service).

The 2014 Preliminary Report* - 31,761 graduates from 44 colleges and universities in 22 states have been surveyed, and with 26% responding as of May 31, 2014, the market looks good for the class of 2014!

In total, 66% of respondents from undergraduate programs indicated they were engaged in some type of occupation (employment, military service, additional education, or volunteer service).

According to the preliminary data,

  • The median reported salary for undergraduate students in the period approaching or directly following graduation is $35,000.
  • 41% of undergraduates reported being employed full-time.
  • More than 50% indicated they held full or part-time employment.
  • Only 26% indicated they were unemployed and still seeking employment with 23% indicating that seeking employment was their primary post-graduation activity.
  • Nearly 18% of undergraduates reported that they had enrolled in additional education with an additional 16% indicating they were still seeking additional educational opportunities.
