Bestselling Author and Top Blogger Questions Why YouTube Banned His Videos

With over 1000 videos live on YouTube, popular submitter questions why.

Los Angeles, Calif., USA – WEBWIRE

Los Angeles, Calif. - BJ Min, author of a popular blog (BJMin101.com) started his YouTube channel (username: www.youtube.com/dictatormethod) in 2009 and has been providing daily videos ever since.

He claims his subject matter, entrepreneurial tips, is “... one of the top one percent of YouTube channels in terms of the quantity of videos uploaded in the same channel”.  Mr. Min continues, “The subjects of my now missing videos are supported by my related publishing efforts.   Several of my writings were very highly ranked in Amazon.com’s business category during their initial publication, and sold beyond my wildest expectations.”

In and effort to garner publicity for himself within the YouTube community, he challenged others to do as he has done.  Mr. Min adds, “I wanted bloggers, just like me, putting out entrepreneurial tips, to raise the bar.  By that I mean, over a 90 day period, I encouraged others to put out three or more videos per day to really get a buzz going”.

No one is quite sure of the reason why BJ Min’s account was terminated because his channel’s videos were all original content and followed all of the user guidelines from YouTube.  Mr. Min’s efforts continued to be Google centric when he added Google hangouts as a starting point for his business messages and resulted in over 400,000 online viewings.

In an effort to try to figure out why his YouTube channel was shut down, he researched other blogger’s track records on YouTube.  A blogger named Brandon Lucero from soldwithvideo.com, claims he received a reply from a Google employee basically conveying that the community of YouTube users initially identifies spam videos, and if they (Google) determine that the community flagged the content in error, then it will be reinstated.

It is clear that YouTube is doing their best to monitor the content uploaded.  Due to massive amounts of content being uploaded, it is understandable that some accounts may be mistakenly taken down.

Taken down in error, or not, many of the followers of Mr. Min’s message on Facebook, Twitter and by his newsletter (as well as his blog) are frankly surprised by the YouTube deletions, and will miss out on the multimedia delivery that videos provide.

YouTube is obviously working hard to monitor their content.  It seems sometimes throughout their monitoring, high quality channels (such as BJ Min’s dictatormethod channel) can be tragically taken down in an instant.

Stay tuned for further news regarding Mr. Min’s efforts to get his YouTube channel reinstated.
