These kids have witnessed and suffered abuse from the hands of their own father, someone they once trusted to love and care for them… Proper assistance will ensure they don’t go down a path of rage.

With a new charity program in the Fairfax, Gainesville and Herndon, VA areas, Designers Insurance Agency announced that they will be raising funds to support a local family with a history of abuse by their father and ex-husband. Angela, the now single mother of Laura and Julian, received a departmental grant at George Mason University to study Chemistry, and struggles to provide their children the assistance they need to overcome the abuse suffered early on in their lives, as she now studies full time, hoping to become a Science teacher one day. The campaign will provide some relief to Angela by helping fund the children’s tuition at Main Street Child Development Center. Donations can be made at http://www.gofundme.com/7d7vvw.

Utilizing its own resources and seeking the help of its own network of customers and business partners, Designers Insurance Agency marches on to ensure customers, friends, family and neighbors are always in good hands. The agency just recently launched the master charity program of which the current campaign is part of, electing every 30-60 days a new individual, organization or family in need to receive support.

“This is such a worthy cause because these kids have witnessed and suffered abuse from the hands of their own father, someone they once trusted to love and care for them… They are sore, let down, and the proper assistance will ensure they don’t go down a path of insecurity, fear and rage,” said Wally Arcayan, the Agency’s principal.

The Agency will promote the current campaign over the course of the next 45-60 days, through its social media channels, email communications, and monthly magazines delivered to thousands of capable recipients. Our Hometown magazine reserves a full page to feature the campaign and details of the chosen cause. The electronic Flipbook version of the current issue can be accessed here: http://designersinsuranceagency.com/Our-Hometown-Magazine_44.

To join Designers Insurance Agency in providing the needed funds to cover Laura’s and Julian’s tuition at Main Street Child Development Center, donors are encouraged to visit http://www.gofundme.com/7d7vvw and share the page with their friends and family through social media and even email. Contributors may be acknowledged for their donations through the Agency’s monthly magazine.

Once the current campaign is over, Designers Insurance Agency will continue to work closely with nonprofit organizations in the area, to make sure resources are directed to capable hands that can help better the local community, one family or person at a time. Information regarding past and current campaigns supported by the Agency can be found at http://designersinsuranceagency.com/community-cause.
